Barrack Hussein Obama, born, in August 4th, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii made history when he was elected 44th president of the United States of America as the first African American to hold this office.

Prior to his election as President, he spent twenty years as a Constitutional Law Office Professor, Civil Rights Attorney, State Senator, and U.S. Senator.

In 1988, Barrack Obama entered Harvard Law School. While working at a law firm, he met his future wife Michelle LaVaughn Robinson at the same firm. He graduated from Harvard in 1991. At Harvard, he was elected as the first African American president of Harvard Law Review. In 1995, the audio version of his book, Dreams from my Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, won a Grammy Award.

In 2007, Obama declared his candidacy for the Democratic Presidential Nominee for the 2008 Elections, and in 2008 began his race against Republican Senator, John McCain. On Nov 4th, 2008, Obama won the election as President of the United States and delivered his victory speech at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois.
