Sanchez Gardner

Sanchez Marche' Gardner is a Carolina native whose passion is writing poetry. Shortly after deciding to pursue his passion full-time, he quickly discovered he could use his poetry as a vehicle for inspiring others and educating our youth. Having overcome many obstacles in life, his writings are drawn from his own life experiences and from observing those around him. His poetry reflects the African American perspective on love, life, relationships, social issues, and politics. His poems have been featured in national magazines such as Essense and Parade Magazine. Most recently, Gardner was honored by the South Carolina House of Representatives for his contributions of the spoken word. Gardner is the author of three books: Breaking the Chains, Hidden Treasures, and the Pearls of Marche.
