Lieutenant Colonel Mitchell is the Commander of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Aircraft Integrated Maintenance Operations (AIMO) in Greenville, SC. He is responsible for leading a DCMA AIMO unit that provides oversight of the Overhaul, Maintenance, Modification, and Repair of Department of Defense aircraft and engineering services at various contractor facilities. Lieutenant Colonel Mitchell is a 1988 graduate of Benton High School in Benton, Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics in 1993 from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, Louisiana, and a Master of Science in Administration in 2002 from Central Michigan University. Lieutenant Colonel Mitchell is a native of Benton, Louisiana. He received his commission in August 1993 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Louisiana Tech University. He completed Squadron Officer School in residence in July 2000 and he has served in a variety of operational support and acquisition assignments throughout his career.
