Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama, the first lady of the United States and much more lawyer, community outreach worker, and wife of the 44th and first African American president, was born on January 17, 1964. Born in Chicago, Illinois she graduated from Whitney M. Young magnet high school for the gifted in 1981, where she also served as the government class treasurer. After high school, Michelle attended Princeton University and earned a B.A in sociology an later earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1988. After law school, she worked as an associate in the Chicago branch law firm Sidley Austin in the marketing, and intellectual property area, where she met her future husband Barrack. After two years of dating, Barack proposed to Michelle, and the couple married at Trinity United Church of God on October 18, 1992. She eventually gave birth to two girls, Natasha(Sasha) and Malia.
